Meet the Artist
MK, a 26-year-old artist, has called Austin home for the last 9 years. Her journey into tattooing was shaped by a series of life-changing events, but it was becoming a mother that truly transformed her path. When she found out she was pregnant with her son, everything clicked. The love and responsibility of motherhood gave her the drive to finally narrow down a career she could pour herself into. It was the spark that ignited her fire—that has only grown stronger over the past three years.
Now, with three years of experience as a tattoo artist, MK can’t imagine her life without it. Tattooing is more than just a job for her.
An interesting aspect of her work comes from her personal history. MK was born with cataracts, which were removed when she was 17. Growing up, she struggled with limited vision, unable to see the fine details that many take for granted. But in a way, this adversity has become a gift in her tattooing practice. The intricate, micro details that define her art are, in a sense, a reflection of her journey—from a time when she couldn’t see the world’s finer details to now, when those very details are her passion and her craft.
For MK, tattooing isn’t just a job—it’s a life she never dreamed she’d have.

I started etching mirrors to express my love for fine line art and explore new artistic mediums. This craft has captured my heart, allowing me to create stunning pieces that serve as striking home decor, boutique accents, and thoughtful gifts for holidays or birthdays. Each mirror is a unique statement, and I also offer customization options for designs and scripts, making each mirror truly personal.
